Background

Hannah Collier has worked at Pope Flynn since 2013, and is a paralegal supporting the public finance practice area. Prior to Pope Flynn she spent five years with the Department of Defense as part of the Army’s Interpreter Training Program, teaching English to native Arabic, Farsi, and Pashto speakers, developing training materials, and acting as a liaison between the program manager and soldiers. While there, she co-authored Introduction to the American Language Course for 09L Soldiers. Prior to her work at the DOD, Hannah taught English and pronunciation classes to 200 Chinese students at SIAS International University in Xinzheng, China.

Hannah grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English from Erskine College; she received a TESOL certificate from Seattle University. She is a paralegal member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) and in her spare time serves on her neighborhood HOA board as secretary.
